Nomadic Journey

My day started at 5:00am, started a nomadic journey on my bike with no destination. After some random thoughts, I landed at Thiruvaanai temple located at about 15 km from our hostel.

A small info about the temple:

An important place of worship for saivates located at a distance of 1.5 km from trichy and very nearer to srirangam. It is one amongst the jothirlinga states of lord shiva Lord shiva is seen in a form of linga and he is partially submerged in water.Underneath the linga form of shiva a spring comes and is a divine gift of the god. Archeological surveys prove that this was built in the same time when Renganatha swamy temple was built. A holy place which has five walls around and seven gopurams.

  4. @YUVA, this temple is located in Trich, a few kilometers from Srirangam Temple. It looks awesome if u can reach this temple in the morning.

  5. I am just spell-bound. It combines the beauty of morning and the serenity of a temple. Just as we star gaze, trying to picture out the big picture in life, this jolts you out from the regular assumptions in life of what life is actually about. I am not so much photo-savvy to appreciate the technical details. But your choice of subject shows a passion and I am not so convinced that this is a nomadic journey. I like the 9th photo. Its very cinematic for one. Two, your framing is excellent, for what I understand is that you have focussed on to a very near object towards the left bottom of the frame giving an idea of the height of the temple. It gives a feeling of support in a weird kind of way. And the second picture is a typical one. My suggestion (could be naive): Try a church. You have done a Great Job.
